The SASSY ITALIAN

I found the Sassy Italian to be quite cosy. The vibe, atmosphere and aesthetic were immaculate. We went when it was quite cold (winter) but the fire place was nice and warm. But apart from the vibe, the food was so delicious. I truly enjoyed it. The waitress nice too. I was however a bit disappointed that they hardly accommodated kids and no kiddies menu. We went there with my child but as we were leaving I noticed a bucket with crayons and paper for coloring which they gave my daughter only as we were leaving. So ideally I would not suggest going there with a kid but rather on a date night or a get-together with your friends.

Lovely venue, clean and well kept. The staff are warm, friendly and attentive. They have well priced lunch specials and I would recommend you give them a try. Thank you

A nice homely and beautiful restaurant in the suburbs. I believe this used to be a Del Forno earlier. Enjoyed a Sunday lunch there . Enjoyed a chicken pasta, roasted cauliflower for mains and a cheesecake for dessert. Portions are decent and well priced. The chicken scallopini was delicious and so were the desserts. The decor is beautiful and service was good but a a little slow.

I had eaten here previously and enjoyed my meals. Yesterday I order the Pesto. Chicken pasta. It tasted fine but by 2 hours later I had an upset stomach with cramps. The colour of the dish was very yellow but I never questioned this although it is unusual. Please review your recipe. Also the Penne was overcooked. Some pieces were totally split. There were also some odd red squishy pieces that I could not taste, tomato,?

Such a great vibe for a Sunday afternoon. Had Thee Best lunch. Starters mains and desserts where amazing. Service from Nokwanda was warm and friendly. Gave advice on the best specials and date nights available. Definitely will be going back
